September 11, 2014
Three individuals will assume new responsibilities in the IUSM Dean’s Office this month in an effort to better deploy existing talent and resources to meet the evolving needs of the school.
Steve Bogdewic, Ph.D., will become the first executive vice dean of the school, and Mary Dankoski, Ph.D., will become the executive associate dean for faculty affairs and professional development, assuming the responsibilities previously held by Dr. Bogdewic. Finally, Diane Iseminger, M.A., has been named chief of staff for both the School of Medicine and the Indiana University Office of University Clinical Affairs.
Dr. Bogdewic will take on the role of executive vice dean after serving as the executive associate dean for faculty affairs and professional development since 2005. He will be charged with attending to school-wide strategic planning and critically important statewide operations.
Dr. Dankoski has played a role in the Office of Faculty Affairs and Professional Development since 2006, serving first as an assistant dean then as associate dean since 2012.
As chief of staff, Ms. Iseminger will assist in the implementation of strategic agendas for the IU School of Medicine and for University Clinical Affairs. Iseminger joins the school and University Clinical Affairs after having served as the director of leadership development for IU Health since 2003.
