CAITS expands service hours to include nights and weekends

Dedicated to providing full-service technology support to the IU health sciences community, Clinical Affairs Information Technology Services is preparing to launch two service enhancements.

 Effective Oct. 1, CAITS will offer support center hours from 6:30 am - 8 pm Monday through Friday. This expansion provides four additional hours per day of direct support, maintaining three shifts with a minimum of two technicians answering calls during those hours. In addition, CAITS will offer response to after-hours emergency issues, also beginning Oct. 1.

 “As a customer service organization, our goal is to provide services that meet the needs of our clients,” said Kevin Cusimano, chief technology operations officer. “This additional access was requested by our clients and we are pleased to be able to respond with 24/7 support.”
